Almost permanent sharpness, extreme wear resistance and high quality of the cutting edges due to the exclusive MICRO CARBIDE steel. Thanks to the powder-metallurgical process, the hard carbides are very small and evenly distributed; vanadium is available in a very concentrated form. The additional hardening by means of cooling at -180 °C binds the carbon in the molecular structure. The FRIODUR® cutting blade thus reaches its maximum hardness.
SMOOTHNESS
High-End cutting blade shape accurate to a hundredth of a millimeter thanks to CNC grinding technology and BLC turning method (Backlight + Computer-aided) and also the adjustable, enclosed and flat SMART SPIN screw system ensure an unparalleled light and perfect smoothness.
SHARPNESS
Convex cutting blades with fully integrated cutting surfaces and a very sharp cutting angle for maximum sharpness. Thanks to hollow grinding and DC honing, perfectly suited for slicing.
