Zuka, the new neck collar 2.0

Zuka, de nieuwe halskraag 2.0 - KOOS • alles voor je haar

How to use the Zuka

Using Zuka in your salon or barbershop couldn't be easier.

COMFORTABLE, NOT CHOKING

With Zuka, the cape doesn't need to be pulled tightly around the client's neck. Zuka creates a pressure-free seal, meaning the cape can be worn comfortably loose. Clients have told us that a loose cape with Zuka is more comfortable and provides a cleaner cutting experience. Comfortable clients come back!

PLACE THE ZUKA WITH THE ZUKA LOGO FACING FORWARD

The Zuka should rest on the chest and shoulders. It is not intended to be wrapped around the neck like a scarf. Proper placement of the Zuka ensures a watertight seal and prevents itchy hairs from falling along the neckline.

A 2CM RAISED EDGE IS SUFFICIENT

Only the inner edge of the Zuka needs to make contact with the neck to create a good seal. The inner edge tapers to ensure flexibility and comfort. The overlapping edges will stick together to hold the Zuka in place without fasteners.

ADJUST FOR COMFORT AND ACCESS TO NECK HAIR

Make sure the Zuka is low enough to allow you to trim the hair in the neck. A collar that is too loose may leak, but the collar should not be tighter than necessary. In practice, adjustments are rarely needed.

DO YOUR MAGIC WHILE ZUKA DOES ITS PART

Enjoy the glory of a future satisfied client.

REMOVE THE LOOSE HAIRS

Zuka works like magic, but it is inevitable that hairs will fall along the neck when it is removed. To prevent this, simply blow or remove excess hairs from the client's head and neck.

REMOVE FROM BACK TO FRONT

Hold one end of the Zuka in each hand and move it forward so that excess hair falls onto the cape. Step back and admire the satisfied client you have just created.

RINSE AND SOAK IN DISINFECTANT SOLUTION

Rinse excess hair off the collar under running water. A little hand soap will make stubborn hairs slide off. Then immerse it in an approved disinfectant solution, such as Barbicide, according to the manufacturer's instructions. Follow local rules and regulations pertaining to your industry.

DRY

Pat dry with a clean towel and place in a clean area for reuse. It is important to use a fresh, clean Zuka for every client to ensure the best experience and proper hygiene.
